Giving to the Library: The Honor and Memorial Program of Warsaw Public Library
A gift to the Warsaw Public Library helps to enrich the lives in your community for years to come.
A printable form is available here. Forms are also available at the library. For convenience, the form can be printed and mailed to the library.
Give a gift to be shared
Celebrate a special occasion, pay tribute to a friend or memorialize a loved one by giving an Honor or Memorial gift to Warsaw Public Library. With your monetary donation, the library selects material for its collection in accordance with our collection development policy and based on need.
Celebrate a milestone, such as a birth in the family, birthday, wedding, anniversary, graduation or special achievement, honor a service person, a friend or a special pet in your life with an Honor gift.
Remember a loved one with a memorial gift.
Honor and Memorial gifts to the Friends of the Warsaw Public Library are added to the library’s acquisition fund and used solely to purchase library materials or designated gifts.
A bookplate will be placed inside the book or material acknowledging the honoree or person memorialized as well as the donor. Notification of the gift will be sent to the honoree or memorial family acknowledging the gift and title of the item added to the library’s collection. The giver will also receive notification of the gift chosen, along with a receipt for your gift.
Memorial/Honorarium Forms are available at the library
Simply complete the Memorial/Honorarium form (available at the library) or send a letter, indicating the subject area and/or format requested. Although we cannot guarantee the purchase of a specific title, every effort will be made to pay tribute to your loved one.
